Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders
My favorite brands have all released new skin-perfecting powders for Spring 2013. Hourglass is offering a wide variety of shades for your complexion pleasure!
Mood Light, photographed above, is a near-skintone shade with just a wee hint of pink. I’m a fan of this for my personal use as it neutralizes my yellow undertones and leaves the skin looking more youthful and healthy. [Read more…] about Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders

Sephora color adapt blush. This blush looks different on everyone, because the formula is actually designed to adapt to the body’s temperature change in color, much like a mood ring. When I swatch it on my arm, the shade appeared to be a sheer glossy pale pink, which is perfect for summer 2013. The sheerness dewiness of this product makes it appear very natural. Interestingly this for formula also acts much like a cheek stain so even if the product wipes off it leaves a sheer pink stain behind.

Glamour Daze Extra Dimension Skinfinish
Any product by MAC with the word “Skinfinish” in its name becomes a favorite! When MAC introduced Extra Dimension Skinfinish back in the spring, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful metallic glow they delivered. Included in the MAC Glamour Daze collection for holiday, Whisper of Gilt and Superb also happen to be the two shades from the original launch that I felt were universally flattering.
They’re Back! Whisper of Gilt and Superb Extra Dimension Skinfinish
These powders can be used for highlighting, or all-over application. Drab winter skin comes back to life, when these colors are applied!
Retail price is $29. These two shades are sold out online, so the hunt begins!
