I’ve been dying to sample Violent Lips product for quite some time. After all, how else can a makeup commoner like me achieve an intricate lip-look like the sparkling red lips above? Once I got these glitterly lip appliques in house, I was still too nervous to try them out! I took one look at the oversized product with trim lines drawn on the back, and got arctic-cold feet. Poppy King and Supercalifragilipstick!

It has been quite a while since I’ve written about the fabulous Poppy King, and her equally fab line of lip makeup Lipstick Queen. I’ve been eyeballing Kate Spade’s recently launched line of Supercalifragilipstick lipsticks, unsure of why exactly they keep catching my eye. That’s when I found out… Kate Spade’s new lipstick line is a collaboration between Kate and Poppy King! There’s simply something about Poppy’s style that always catches my attention, and her product is second-to-none, so one can only hope Kate Spade has also embraced Poppy’s

Currently, the online selection is just some classics: Pop Art Pink, Bashful Blush, Fuchsia Fete and Adventurous. Also offered by the brand are super cute makeup bags featuring swatches of all of the lipstick shades. I guess if you’d like to dabble in them, you’ll need to find a boutique near you!

Retail price is $24 per lipstick.
