Semi-Precious Mineralize Skinfinish
Where my friends were concerned, it was MAC lipstick that launched a long-term love affair with the brand. So many of my girls carried a tube at all times, quite devotedly!
I was a bit of a late adopter, I suppose. While I liked MAC, the brand truly earned my allegiance when it launched Mineralize Skinfinish. This mineral-infused formula (it contains 77 skin-loving minerals) isn’t like the typical pressed powder. It leaves the skin looking positively luminous. The formula never looks dry or flat, or settles in the pores! [Read more…] about Semi-Precious Mineralize Skinfinish
Mineralize Charged Water Review
While making plans for a summertime (gulp!) vacation in the desert, a reservations agent attempted to prepare me for what 120 degree dry heat feels like.
“Just blast your hair dryer directly into your face,” was his helpful advice. [Read more…] about Mineralize Charged Water Review
MAC Sized To Go
I lived out of a suitcase for over two years of my life (though it felt like 30!) and pride myself on my ability to pack light, and yet have everything I need. MAC Prep+Prime Beauty Balm SPF35
Summertime is wedding time! Each Summer, I like to share a few makeup recommendations with any brides-to-be in my audience. After all, you only get one chance at those perfect wedding photos!
My favorite bridal beauty product for Summer 2011 is MAC’s Prep + Prime Beauty Balm. This recently-launched makeup primer is designed to be applied before foundation. MAC’s Beauty Balm smooths the texture of the skin, minimizing fine lines and large pores. This product also expertly evens the skin tone, making red blotches and hyperpigmentation disappear!
Housed in a tube that looks like a large concealer tube, the shade of MAC Prep+Prime Beauty Balm is a sheer light beige. Supposedly the formula is acceptable for most skin tones, but I would think it’s best on those with medium to fair skin. The coverage provided depends on how you apply the product. It’s possible to apply it thinly, or more heavily, depending on your needs.
As if you needed another reason to sample this product, it also has an added SPF35!
