Chanel’s Lotion Tendre

Those of you with dry skin like mine know how hard it is to find a good toner. Many toners have alcohol in them, and just suck all moisture right out of your skin. I highly recommend Chanel’s “Lotion Tendre” for those among you with dry skin like mine. It’s super gentle, but sucks dirt off of your skin like a vacuum. It must be used to be believed!

Spring Product Wishlist

There are some really cool new products to dip into this spring. Below is my current wishlist. I haven’t yet tried these products, but I can’t WAIT to.

1) Cargo’s Plant Love Lipsticks: The product development team at Cargo has clearly watched "An Inconvenient Truth" and responded to Al Gore’s call by creating a botanical lipstick with a 100% biodegradeable tube. So forward thinking!

2) Tarte’s "Inside Out" Vitamin infused lipgloss. Women accidentally eat their lipstick/gloss so often– it’s about time someone made it good for our health! Tarte teamed up with Borba to develop a gloss that actually contains the vitamins you need, so every accidental lick is good for your health.

3) Lorac’s Cheekstamp. A cylindrical shaped blush with a sponge applicator. A genius method to target the apples of the cheek!

4) DermaDoctor’s "Physical Chemisty". This home microdermabrasion system can actually tell when your skin has had enough, therefore preventing irritation. What good is removing old, dead skin cells if you’ll only be unveiling irritation?

Chanel Pro Lumiere Foundation

My friendly neighborhood Chanel representative insisted that I sample a different foundation the last time I was in for an "express" makeup. I normally don’t tinker with my usual regimen, but let her give the Pro Lumiere a spin.

While it is a bit heavy for everyday use (I’m particularly suspicious anytime I see skin that looks too perfect), this foundation is ideal for a night out or an event. My skin looked completely, utterly, flawless while this was on. It was shockingly porcelain. Had it existed, I certainly would have selected this to wear on my wedding day.

Bag Borrrow or Steal

For the woman who absolutely HAS to have the latest “it” bag (or hell– she needs to have access to ALL of the latest “it” bags), this online shop is a must see.
