It’s something I forget often, so when Rembrandt passed along their Deeply White 2 hour Whitening Kit for me to sample, it was a great reminder that it’s time for some Spring cleaning!
The Rembrandt system was so simple to use, so don’t buy it and then stare at it in fear for days! The first step is to adjust the included molds to fit your bite. I nuked a mug of water and submerged the mold into it for 5 seconds. If you’ve been making yourself tea to keep warm this winter, that is how long you should microwave your water. You want the water to be hot, but not boiling.

The 2 hour process is actually broken into 20 minute sessions. After each 20 minute session, there is a 10 minute rest period from the process. During this time, you can rinse out your mouth and assess your smile, to see if you need another session for additional whitening. Therefore, the actual length of the process is really up to you! To begin, you simply dispense the whitening solution from a pre-measured ampule into each mold. Then, slide the filled molds onto your teeth, and set a timer for 20 minutes!
Naturally, you really can’t talk at all when those molds are in. Plan to do this process at home, and feel free to multi-task: cleaning, watching TV and enjoying some online shopping are perfect ways to pass the time!
I took the plunge and completed all 4 sessions of application so I could fully review this product for my readers. When I was finished, my smile definitely looked a few shades brighter and whiter. Best of all, this product caused me ZERO sensitivity, discomfort, or irritation of any kind.
Something to remember when it comes to tooth whitening, is that these products remove stains, but do not lighten the actual base shade of your tooth! Teeth are naturally in a wide variety of shades, so individual results will vary. This coffee drinker is very pleased with her whiter smile!
