Yes, the shade she was wearing was Sail La Vie, swatched above, and it would look simply divine on everyone of any skintone. Sail La Vie is a deep orange with a satin finish, and since orange is clearly the “new red” for 2012, it’s my duty to point out that Sail La Vie is an easy orange to pull off. It’s not neon or too vivid. The shade is bright, but in an elegant and understated way. If you’ve been dying to try an orange lip, MAC Sail La Vie is a great way to embrace the trend.
