Silk + Satin, SinfulColors Summer 2014
The Silk + Satin summer 2014 nail polish collection contains a total of six shades with a matte finish. Don’t confuse matte with flat! The finish does look silken, and is a modern touch!
Prime Purple is a soft, pale lavender. I love how this feminine color looks much more grown up with the matte finish.
Silver Solution is a soft silver. This shade is my absolute favorite from the Silk + Satin shades that I sampled. I love how the matte finish makes this metallic subtle in an oxymoron kind of way.
Pipaya is a matte coral that screams sophistication.
If you generally don’t like matte polish, you should give these a second look! SinfulColors managed to make these mattes look positively luminous, not chalky. Colors not shown are Matte About You (a deep cornflower blue), Real Teal, and Solar Flux (yellow).
Full Throttle, SinfulColors Summer 2014
The SinfulColors Full Throttle Collection for Summer 2014 contains vivid brights with a textured finish that reminds me of an orange peel! It’s
Rubber Ball is a bright pink with a textured finish that is really eye-catching.
Burn Rubber is a vivid orange that I adore on the toes.
Red Tired is a classic red that is anything but ordinary with tons of texture! Want to have some fun? Use all three of these Full Throttle colors for an alternating pedicure!
Colors not pictured include Rain Rubber (periwinkle blue) and Race Rubber (a Bordeaux).
Retail price is $1.99 per bottle. Retailers include Walgreens and Rite Aid. They’ll be available near you in August 2014!
