I’m going to keep publishing reviews and photos of the Smashbox Drawn In. Decked Out. collection until someone passes out from the excitement. This year’s selection of holiday gifts is impressive, but also budget-friendly! The gem of the Smashbox Holiday 2017 gifting collection is the Smashbox Shadow + Contour + Blush Palette. It has all of the wow factor of a mega palette, without the hefty pricetag. **AND** The Smashbox Friends & Family sale has started so if you click HERE to shop at Smashbox today, you’ll get 25% off of your purchase of $50 or more!
The palette features art by Ana Strumpf, and comes packaged with a sheet of stickers you can use to decorate the gift-wrapped box! The overall look of the packaging is playful and festive, but not in an overtly “holiday” way. In other words, you’ll proudly carry this palette through Spring without it looking off-season.
Inside the palette is an array of color cosmetics. Two shades of blush, three shades of contour powder, and fifteen eyeshadow shades are included.
On the left in the photo above are the two shades of Smashbox Blush in the palette: Warm Apricot– a golden apricot, and Passion– a cool-hued pink. On the right above are the three shades of Smashbox Contour Powder included in the palette: Contour– a deep brown contour shade, Bronze– a medium bronzer, and Highlight– a pale ivory.
The top row of the palette contains Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow in Vanilla– a pale warm neutral, Champagne– a frosty pale champagne, Almond– a warm toasty brown, Antique– a muted violet, and Topaz– a bold frosty taupe.
The middle row contains Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow in Wheat– a medium yellowy neutral, Sunrise– a frosty gold, Delirious– an intense copper, Royal– a sultry black/purple, and Thunder– gunmetal gray.
The bottom row of the palette features Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow in Nectar– a pale yellow-peach, Flamingo– a frosty peach, Rustic– a soft smoky brown, Bourbon– a deep brown with a hint of antique gold, and Serpent– goddess green.
I have really enjoyed using this palette! It’s not too big for travel, and includes all of the powder-based makeup you need for a complete look. The color selection can take you from daytime to nightime in a flash. Retail price is $42!
The Smashbox Shadow + Contour + Blush Palette can be purchased from Smashbox.com, Sephora, Macys.com, Nordstrom, or Ulta.
