- MAC, Such Flare Lipstick
A friend recently called me looking for a fab red lipstick, and I didn’t even need to direct her to this beauty blog for swatch perusal. I simply told her to hit a local MAC counter and sample Such Flare lipstick, from MAC’s Glitter and Ice Holiday color collection.
The Red Lipstick of Holiday 2011: MAC Such Flare!
A truer red hasn’t crossed my desk in quite some time, so if you’ve tried red lipstick in the past and thought “this shade is too orange” or “this shade is too blue”, then Such Flare is for you!
One of six shades from this holiday makeup collection, Such Flare is a beautiful classic red. Wear time is excellent, as I’ve generally found with MAC lipsticks. I didn’t apply any liner pencil when I sampled this shade, and was surprised to see that the color didn’t bleed on me. (Although in the future, I will most certainly wear a clear lip pencil to maintain maximum control, it’s a must where red lipstick is concerned).
Such Flare is also in the limited-edition white tube… which I personally love!
