The entire time I spent playing and swatching the Disney Ariel Storylook Palette, I’ve been singing songs from The Little Mermaid. I know them ALL by heart, because my younger sister was simply obsessed with the movie. When I was a teenager, she sang the songs over and over and over again despite my protests. Now when ever I see the little mermaid I cant’ help but think of her. So while admiring this shade of nautical-inspired shadows, my thoughts also drifted to my darling red-headed sister, who actually looks a bit like Ariel herself. The Disney Ariel Storylook Eyeshadow Palette contains 20 shades of shadow in an amazing array of colors that invokes thoughts of the ocean, sunny beaches and coral. Each shade is named after a character, scene, song or quote from the movie The Little Mermaid. The palette itself can be removed from the velvet storage “book” it comes in for easy use.
It’s actually a nice thin sheet of a palette, actually, that can be easily stored with your makeup stash. The shades from this collection deliver an even, high-pigment color. I have to say that I’m really impressed with the product that the Sephora Collection has been producing recently. Their latest releases easily compete with some high-end brands, but also have an attractive price point.
