Ordinarily, to apply any MAC Face Powder I would swirl the different shades together for an all-over face application. However, my opinion is that these shades are best used separately. The highlighter shade (the palest shade of the three- described by MAC as a soft pale pink with white pearl) is best singled out and used as a highlighter high on the cheekbones. It positively gleams and plays wonderful games with the light.
The to darker shades–a medium violet pink and a deeper rose pink–can then be mixed together to apply to the apple of the cheek, or used separately for contouring.
