One thing is perfectly clear, the fragrance trend for Spring and Summer 2012 is a Fruity Floral. This succulent and feminine combo is cropping up everywhere. An inexpensive way to participate in the trend is to shop at Bath & Body Works, where their new Wild Garden Collection is available in everything from a fine fragrance mist to a body lotion.
Fruity Floral Scents Rock 2012
I’ve lived in the Seattle area for over a decade now (still can’t believe that!) and as a result am intimately familiar with the scent of fresh tulips. The tulip festival held each year in Skagit County is an amazing sight! Fields dotted with red, pink and yellow blooms stretch out as far as the eye can see. The experience is much like stepping into an impressionist painting.
I had the opportunity to take the new Bath & Body Works scent Wild Berry Tulips for a spin recently, and the scent of tulips happily brought me right back to a spring day wandering about a tulip farm in Washington. What happy memories! The addition of the delicious smell of ripe berries adds a sugary sweet element to the scent.
