When it comes to caring for my children, I make an effort to rely on natural ingredients. Here are two of my tried and true favorites for skincare and haircare!
When it comes to dry skin, my children do best with Calendula Oil. This natural oil is derived from Marigolds, and has powerful healing benefits including helping wounds to heal faster!
There are many uses of tea tree oil, and one of them is actually to prevent lice from nesting in your children’s hair! I use a shampoo with tea tree oil as an ingredient for my kids. Not only does it help to prevent them from heading home from school with unwanted hitchhikers, but tea tree oil is also great for soothing a dry scalp.
Lavender oil is an excellent addition to the bath. The scent is known to induce relaxation and relieve anxiety, so it’s best used right before bedtime. Lavender oil is also know to soothe burns.
