In the world of makeup, the word “NAKED” is now synonymous with Urban Decay. After launching two cult-classic shadow palettes, Urban Decay has decided to “flesh out” the NAKED brand (so to speak) and introduced Naked Skin, a foundation that is weightless, yet delivers that eggshell complexion look that can be so difficult to attain.
Getting Naked with Urban Decay

Swatched above is NAKED Skin in shade 2.0, which turned out to be a bit too fair and yellowy for me. But this calls out one thing I love about this foundation: there are 18 different shades available, and lots of great choices for fair skin in both cool and warm undertones. This fair-skinned gal has always had a difficult time finding a match, so a wide variety of options is a welcome sight.
Wondering which shade to select? There’s also a tool online that matches some popular foundation shades to the Urban Decay Naked lineup, so you can switch over right online!
The finish is a mid-weight semi-matte, and a great selection if you’re looking to ease into heavier coverage for fall. The formula is also oil-free and paraben free.
Retail price is $38 per bottle.
