Try as I may, many foundations and concealers are simply lack-luster when it comes to concealing rosacea. My rosy cheeks generally peek through pretty much every product to some degree. It’s just something I’ve gotten used to.
Urban Decay Surreal Skin Cream To Powder Foundation, introduced as part of their (extremely extensive) Fall 2009 makeup lineup, truly masks the problem.
The foundation is housed in a glossy purple compact, and applies easily with an included flat cruelty-free brush hidden in a compartment beneath the foundation. The product applies like a cream, but dries to a powder-like matte finish. Unlike a powder, however, it doesn’t leave the skin looking dry or caked with makeup.
