The Gareth Pugh for MAC collection was so scorching hot, I didn’t expect to get my hands on any product at all. Color me surprised when I received a glorious sample of Vacant Lipglass!
Gareth Pugh for MAC: Vacant Lipglass
Lavender is a new neutral, and I distinctly remember wearing a shade very similar to this back in the 80s. While vacationing with family and friends, I applied purple shadows and a bright high-pigment pale purple lipstick. I slid on a bright red sweatshirt, checked my look, and distinctly remember thinking: “Isn’t it amazing how purple goes with anything?”
Gareth Pugh’s Vacant Lipglass is the sheer version of that very lipstick I adored, and wore with everything. Don’t think of purples as neutral? Try this lipgloss shade on for size, and then let me know what you think! MAC describes the shade as a “sheer light lavender grey with violet purple”. There’s that “gruple” shade again… I just coined that phrase a few days ago!
Is Vacant Lipglass sold out?
